Action for Swifts Holt

Three nesting boxes have been sited on the north wall of Bird Ventures, The Wildlife & Pet Shop in Holt. The decline in the numbers of Swifts is in part due to the reduction in suitable nesting site around the town and it is hoped that other property owners will be encourage to site nest boxes on their buildings in an effort to increase breeding numbers of this iconic summer bird.
