After some social networking on line, some of my family decided to gather at a meeting point and see the Parade on the High street.
There was a real buzz in the air with whistles, wiggles, party horns, streamers, balloons, smiles of carnival happy faces. After waiting and wondering if the Parade was ever gonna start. Suddenly there was a roar of motorbikes doing wheelies and revving the engines. They came whizzing past. After the bikes, Austrian dancers, Doris Dancers and the Marlene school of dance. Floats, boats and planes.
Skate boarders, giant bicycles, wheelchairs, motor scooters, tanks, horses, limousines, carts, trailers, aeroplanes, trucks, lorries, ice lollies, ice creams, cartoon characters and candy floss fish and seagulls, Seaside Special, Oliver, Willy Wonder vision and dogs.

My favourite float was the Under water world in series 3 photos.
