I was going to delete this as a failed photo but well it shows just how fast these birds are.

I thought I recognised the stump! The nuthatches were very quickly in and out and it was not the best lit place to get a photo, I had loads of 'nearly' shots too :)

I am glad i am not alone! i was photographing a swan when a moorhen came from nowhere and you can see the stages as it came into view and flew into the river, was quite comical.. talk about getting in the picture!! :)

Yes at the start of the woodland bit - I was the one hobbling with small camera & tripod, first time we have been there.

There are other photos (sharp) & a video but they are still pending at the moment.
