As i was just going to hang our washing out i spotted this pair of common daters on our washing line so i grabbed my camera crept up and took a few shots then they flew off but as i was uploading the shots to my pc they came back so i thought i would see just how close i could get, put on my flash and i managed to get several of the male at near minimum distance. Was very surprised the flash didn't spook him :)
