Archbishop Sancroft High School student Sam Byer currently in Year 7 spent the weekend of 24th November at the National Waterski Ball in Birmingham. He was there to receive an award for 2nd place in the Tricks – National Waterski League Division Four. Sam has been competing nationally since he was 10 years old. Last year he was the Under 10 National Water Ski Champion for slalom and trick. This year he has taken 2nd place in the Under 12 National slalom and trick ski competitions. Sam started waterskiing at the age of 2.
