Record breaking Maths and English results at Sancroft!
Students and staff at Archbishop Sancroft High School are celebrating further successes. 61% of the students achieved five or more passes at grades A*-C including English and Maths. This is a new record for the school.
Head Teacher, Richard Cranmer, said:
“I am very pleased with these results. 61% 5 A*-C including English and Maths is a new school record and is a reflection of the huge effort by students and staff, both teaching and support. Improving in Maths and English has been a specific priority and the progress made by this cohort in these subjects is excellent.”
Data for this year is as follows: (Figures in brackets are 2011 and 2010 results respectively)

Holly Baker gained 12 GCSE’s (8A*,4A)
Milly Burridge gained 12 GCSE’s (5A*, 5A, 2B)
Naomi Clarke gained 10 GCSE’s (7A*, 2A, 1B)
Jake Foster gained 11 GCSE’s (6A, 4B,1C)
Sarah Griffee gained 11 GCSE’s (10A, 1B)
Lucy Hadingham gained 11 GCSE’s (5A*,4A, 2B)
Anna Martin gained 12 GCSE’s (4A*, 8A)
Sophie Redgrave gained 12 GCSE’s (6A*, 5A,1B)
Sarah Long and Finn Cutting both exceeded expectations and should be particularly proud of their achievement.
