On having some pipework upgraded we came across this part which was fitted about 4 years ago from the top of the hot water cylinder. The amount of corrosion/lime-scale built up over such a short period is astounding so we better get a water softener put in soon. And people wonder why we always insist on filtering our drinking water in Lingwood!
