Could you give Frodo (pictured) a home? Frodo is a 10 year old Shetland gelding, as cheeky as he is cute.
Frodo, at 9.1hh, is looking for a home as a companion pony. He can be a little wary of people, but loves some fuss and attention from those he knows. He can be quite dominant in a herd situation, so is best suited to a home with horses who are not easily intimidated.
He is polite and easy to handle, provided his handler is calm. Frodo can be a little sensitive, so doesn't enjoy a changeable routine.
Frodo arrived at Hall Farm in January 2012, as part of a large prosecution case. He was found as one of a number of ponies living in very poor conditions, along with various other animals. Frodo has come a very long way in a year and is now ready to find a loving new home.
Frodo does suffer from mild sweet itch, but this can easily be controlled. He will make a brilliant companion and is such a character that he will definitely be a firm favourite in his new home.
