The artshoproject proudly introduces Eastern Line One, an exhibition presenting the
diversity and richness of drawing as a media.

Defined as both an activity and a finished product, drawing holds a unique position in the art world. Although conventionally thought of as secondary to painting, the artists exhibiting here show that drawing is a significant medium. By embracing its
monochrome nature, pencil and charcoal are shown to be dynamic and striking.

The artists invited to the artshoproject this December each bring their own distinctive vision to the show. Transcending the idea of just using drawing as a study, sketch, diagram, illustration or accessory to a more important work, they present drawing as an art in its own right.
