His name is Tony Bayliss and he was nominated to carry the flame after scooping the Active Waveney Sports Award for the most valuable contribution to disabled sport.

He runs disability football sessions as part of Waveney Football Club, became involved in disabled sports because his 14-year-old son Josh has autism. Mr Bayliss said: “It’s with great pride and honour that I have accepted the invitation to carry the lantern on behalf of all of us whose passion is to ensure sports can be accessible to everyone, irrelevant of ability.” (Copied from JOurnal website)
