In our household it pays to keep the coaster on top of the glass rather than underneath it. Our elderly Suki loves nothing better than jamming her head into a half empty glass of water.

She came unstuck at Christmas though when our son left his glass of Sprite on the floor and she too a few slurps.

We only discovered this by the cat hairs in the glass (and in his mouth after he took a swig), although Suki did look a bit uncomfortable for a while probably due to the fizz!
