I took these pictures on Tuesday. I spotted this Daffodil in flower on Valentines Day. Last year the same plant was flowering early.

The aspect is south facing. The photograph was taken outside All Saints church at Thorpe Abbotts.

The church is situated on a hill, next to the A140 over looking the Waveney Valley towards Hoxne.

The flowers position is perfect because you just can't miss seeing it when you drive past. It is nestled in a great sun trap hence the reason it flowers so early.

Whilst i was taking my pictures the sun was really warm.

A fantastic place for the first sign of Spring.
